Is college really worth it?

Let's start this off with the fact that I am smarter than the average human. On the bell curve, I'm on the right side of it which means I'm statistically smarter than at least half the population. But, at the same time, I am a dumbass and I can confidently agree that I do stupid things just as someone would if they were on the left side of the bell curve. I can also confidently say someone from either side of the bell curve could agree on which college degrees are worth it and which are not.

I have loved almost every second of my college experience. I have made lifetime friends and countless memories. I have also set myself up very well for my future with the degree I chose a mere three and a half years ago. Finance. Exhibit A on a degree where both sides of the curve could sit back and say, "yeah that'll be worth it down the line... That kid probably isn't going to regret that choice." The crazy thing is, I haven't. I'm going to graduate in 4 years, have a job by the time I graduate (hopefully) with no debt (thanks mom and dad), and be well on my way to success.

Then you come across some of these fucking idiots that enroll in a four year degree and pay damn near 100k for a degree in singing or underwater basket weaving. Exhibit B where both sides can say "holy shit that person is retarded, why would they choose that?" I know a girl who goes to my college and is getting her degree in singing. No reason for that. Exactly why the libs complain they have student loans out the ass. It's because of people that major in singing and can't get any sort of job after school to help pay it off. If your degree is something that is a hobby. Not something you can learn on a YouTube course. But a hobby like singing, fashion, or creative writing to name just a few. College is not worth it, just use your spare time to do that and make yourself useful.
